Here is some welcoming news for movie buffs. Yesterday, the first teaser trailer for the final “Hobbit” movie, “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies,” hit the Internet.
Upon the release of the trailer, the film’s director Peter Jackson posted a teasing message on his Facebook page: “I think one or two of you asked to see this?”
Earlier in the year, Jackson warned the vast number of his “Lord of the Rings” fans that a full trailer for “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” wouldn’t be available until October.
Yet yesterday’s revelation exceeded fans’ expectations. Included in the two-minute teaser is most of the trilogy’s major characters with Smaug the dragon lighting up a village with his breath of fire and heartthrob Legolas battling with a sword.
