The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s three-week royal tour to Australia and New Zealand comes to an end today.

From the moment he arrived in New Zealand on April 7, Prince George, the 9-month-old heir to the throne, was the star of the show.

“We go away with wonderful memories, and George goes away with his cuddly wombat, which he has taken to chewing so lovingly,” Prince Williams said at a reception held at Parliament House. He said that his family leaves reluctantly after a hugely successful family tour.
