Major global markets including China and the United States favor farm products from Korea, statistics said recently.

According to data from Korea’s Agriculture Ministry, shipments of Korean farm products surged 11 percent in July 2013 from the previous year.

The ministry pointed to growing demand for Korean food for the rapid increase.

Shipments of farm products to China and the U.S. spiked 15 percent and 15.6 percent, respectively, over the cited period.
