Nationally loved bread and cookie store Paris Baguette has kicked off its newest operation in the French capital of Paris.

Paris Baguette, just like Tous Les Jours, is not French-owned or operated but is run by a Korean bakery giant, SPC Group. Tour Les Jours is run by Korea’s CJ Group.

SPC Group CEO Hur Young-in told press on July 23 that he wishes to globalize his confectionery chain further in Europe and Canada, while talking about the new store opening. Paris Baguette is currently in China and the United States.

The Paris store of Paris Baguette sits in Chatelet district, close to key tourist sites such as Nortre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre Museum, according to SPC.
